At Official Plates, our aim is to deliver high-quality custom number plates tailored to your specifications and designed to exceed your expectations. We take pride in our craftsmanship and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. However, we understand that situations may arise where a refund is necessary. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refund eligibility and the process for requesting a refund.

Refund Eligibility

We provide refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Production Errors: If an error occurs during the production of your number plates, such as a typographical mistake or design flaw, we will issue a full refund or provide a replacement at no additional cost.

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If your number plates arrive damaged or defective, please contact our customer support team within 1 day of receipt, including pictures of the packaging, the damage, and the full plates. We will either refund your purchase or send a replacement, depending on your preference.

  • Cancellation Before Production: If production has not yet started, you may cancel your order and request a refund. Production begins once we receive your documents and payment. Please note that cancellations are not possible after production has started.

Refund Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Customer Support: Email or call our support team using the contact details available on our website’s Contact page. Provide your order number and a detailed explanation of the issue, along with any supporting photographs.

  2. Verification: Our team will review your request and may ask for additional information to verify the reason for the refund.

  3. Approval: Once approved, we will process your refund within 2 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for your purchase.

Note: Refunds may take additional time to appear on your bank or credit card statement due to processing times at your financial institution.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Change of Mind: Refunds are not available for customers who no longer want the number plates after placing an order.
  • Customer Input Errors: It is your responsibility to carefully review your order before submission. Refunds are not provided for mistakes in the details you supply, such as incorrect registration numbers, spelling errors, or design preferences.
  • Late Refund Requests: Requests submitted more than 3 days after the delivery date will not be accepted.

Returns

Customised number plates are uniquely crafted for each order and cannot be resold. As such, they are non-returnable. For non-customised items that do not feature a registration number, returns may be possible. Please contact us for eligibility. Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
